We slept well at the Devlins and got up at 9.30. Oli made us a yummy breakfast and after a close shave with the lady opposite, we went to Bondi Beach. The weather was fantastic. The beach was beautiful and busy. I was surprised at the amount of fit men - as in the amount of men without beer bellies (proof that we weren't in England)! Sas sunbathed while we went into the sea which was cold to begin with but pleasant afterwards. I have NEVER swam in water like that...

After a lazy start we watched the film Looper and then got ready and got the bus into town and met Grant (our new friend from South America) at Circular Quay. It was really good to see him! Garth had a migraine and slept until midday which meant our plans to visit Bondi Beach went out the window. Which seemed a shame as it was a beautiful sunny day. However in hind sight, we spent the afternoon talking with Jan which was a special time. Garth and I popped to Woolworths (supermarket) and bought food for dinner. I can't really remember what we did in the day - more budgeting I think. But in the evening we went into town and met Saskia, Oli, Michelle and Will (friends from South America) for a Chinese dinner. It was great catching up with them and meeting Will!

I have left it 5 days and I can't remember what we did exactly. But we went into town and took the Ferry out to Manly Beach. The view back to the city from the ferry of the city, opera house and bridge was great. A very dark cloud over the harbour rained down heavily when we arrived at Manly.
