Last day in here for the moment. Today was really going to be the "do nothing"-day. Slow breakfast, from which I spared my sausage to the cute&hairy little girly doggie, who always hanged out at our resort's yard and beach. Most probably they give her some food from the kitchen sometimes, 'cause I don't think she'd otherwise hanged out there always. :) The cute dog was all so happy to have the sausage. =) She had seemingly had puppies not a long ago..but since she always hanged out alone I think that her pupppies had not survived...Poor thing. :'( But I was happy to help her a bit. So patiently she sat beside our table, but not begging, whilst we ate our breakfast.
Her picture is the cover pic of this blog entry, btw. :o)
After breakfast we just hanged at our villa's porch on a triangle pillow reading and drinking cold Chang. B-) Me liked.
It was also a very windy&cloudy day, so it fitted perfectly for this kind of hanging. In the beginning afternoon it started to be _really windy, almost a bit stormy! Big waves came to the shore and plam trees bended heavily. Looked pretty awesome, actually.
We were only concerned that if it'd carry on that windy the food market in Nathon probably wouldn't take place, 'cause the stalls wouldn't hold on. But no worries, for six o'clock the wind had stopped so much that it was like pretty ordinary wind anymore. So we took a taxi to Nathon again. But - what a sum of disappointment first: the old man's Pad Thai stall wasn't there today!! :( And how much would we had wanted to eat that again! Damnit! Well..no options then than to try the other Pad Thai stall ran by an old woman. It was ok, BUT it wasn't as good as the old man's, who's portion was a bit bigger, more tasty, and also 5 bahts cheaper (!). Then we tried varios other barbequed stuff and a fruit shake as a dessert. Niina also ate one squid at a stick, but I didn't have the nerve to taste that.. ;) All in all, we ate&drank ourselves pretty full with very cheap again. We were satisfied, even though the old man with his superior Pad Thai wasn't there. Then we just took a taxi back home and with a shower went to bed, listening to a big gekko's voices from outside. Unfortunately our rooms' air contioner had broke up somehow earlier that evening, so we just had the fan to keep us cool, so it was going to be a more sweaty night ahead of us, but that was ok; after all it was only one night. Tomorrow we're off to Koh Tao, then.
