Thought it was time for an update. Well i left the dolphins behind in Monkey mia and headed to Coral bay. Only there for 24 hours though but it was enough time to have a wonder around and chill out on the beach which was stunning. The 2 swiss girls also came to coral bay so the evening we were due to go our seperate ways we went out for dinner which was nice then said our good byes as we were heading to different places. So made it to Exmouth were the temperature was between 40 - 45 degree's!!! Far to hot to do anything, luckily the hostel which was very nice had a swimming pool!! Not a good start here in Exmouth i was the only one in the dorm, which ,luckily had air con!! I then wondered to the shop fell over and badly grazed my knee so got to the shop with blood dripping everywhere as it was to hot to walk back clean up then head out again and was in desperate need of some water and food!! Luckily there were some public toilets so could clean up a little before walking back. All this lead to me feeling sorry for myself and home sick!! A call home soon sorted that out and the next day i chilled by the pool under a big palm tree and got chatting to some nice people. The following day i headed out on a boat to do some snokeling around Murion Island. The coral was beautiful and the fish were very colourful - it was just a good as the Great barrier reef!! Its strange seeing so much colour under water. I was the only one snokeling the rest were diving and the guy from the boat who snokeled with me has travelled to England and lived in Exeter for 2 months!! Don't meet many people who who have travelled to England and got out of London let alone made it down to Devon!! That evening finally some checked into my dorm, and would you believe she is a midwife in Southampton!! So we had plenty to talk about! The next day it was an early start to do a half day tour in Cape range National park. It was in a air conditioned truck and luckily not much walking as too hot and no shade!! Got to see some wild flowers though its out of season there were some still about - the park must look beautiful when the wild flowers are in season as their so colourful. The view over Exmouth from on top of cape range was stunning. We checked out some caves and saw lots of Kangaroo's as we walked up to it - very exciting!! Especially as most kangaroo's ive seen up till now have gone under the wheel of the Bus!! We then headed for Charles Knife Gorge - Wow!! It looked beautiful especially with the ocean in the background. Then we drove down to Shothole canyon and looked up from the bottom again it was a lovely view. We also took a drive up to the Light house and took photos looking back over Exmouth. Not to many flies accompanied us through out the trip thank goodness!! After the trip finshed i had a little nap then set off for the supermarket - oh good god! It was between 4-5pm but the sun was still so hot and there was no shade it was only a 10 min walk but felt like it took forever and made me feel quiet unwell - spent ages in the shop under the air con trying to cool down and dreading having to step back out again. Made it back to hostel and straight in the pool - couldn't even make it to the kitchen to puit things in the fridge first!! Spent the evening in the pub!! The next day me, Helen (the girl from Soton) and a few others hired a car for the day and headed off to do some snokelling. Unfortunatelty they had all been to Turquisoe bay (which is supposed to be beautiful and good coral reef just off the shore) so i didn't get to go there but we headed for one of the other beaches which was lovely the current was a bit strong and had to head out quiet far to the reef so i did a little but then headed back and sat on the beach luckily there was a nice wind!! Once back at the hostel it was time to shower then prepare for the 20 hr bus journey to Broome!! Luckily Helen was also heading that way which was great to have company along the way!!
