Well i survived the 20 hour bus journey from Exmouth and headed straight for bed!! The next morning it was time to do i little exploring - it was Saturday and i was told a Market is held every week just down the road so that was my first stop. Not very big or exciting so headed for the shoppping centre. After a little retail therapy (some off my clothes were in need of replacing what with been worn day in day out for 2 months!!) I then headed back to the hostel after a bite to eat and chilled by the pool!! Although it was not as hot as Exmouth the humidity was higher so spent most of my time dripping with sweat - Nice!!! It was Australia day so lots of people in the bar drinking and that evening we headed over to Mangrove hotel for the fireworks display and live band. It was a great night and the fireworks were brilliant the display went on for 20 minutes!! After a few beers and a bit of a bop it was time for bed!! The rest of my time in Broome i just chilled out in the hostel as no tours were running due to the wet season and not much to do in Broome itself!! On my last evening me and Helen headed down to Cable beach and treated ourselves to dinner and watched the sunset, didn't get to see the "stairway to heaven" but it was a good! Monday i spent hanging around as my bus for Darwin was not until 7.30pm, it rained alot and the thunder and lightening was amazing to watch. Eventually the time came to head for the bus stop and prepare myself for the next 26 hours on the bus!!!
