After returning from the Great Ocean Road i took a few days to chill out before heading to Sydney. I was staying 10 minutes out of the city centre in St Kilda which was very lively and near the beach, although the weather was not great so didn't spent anytime on it! But i didn't mind the weather in fact i was loving it being nice and cool after spending the last month in the sunshine. There were a few shops which i pottered around, got my hair cut, which was desperately needed!! and chilled out!! I ventured in to the city for a day whicc involved me catching a tram and once i got to the city i stood in Federation square not really sure what to do or where to go - it was so busy and lots of big building not what id been used to for the last month!! Once i got myself together i headed to the information centre and discovered that there was a free tram which takes you round the city to see the sights - Perfect!! So on i hopped and away we went. Melbourne is a very beuitiful city with lots of old building which looked stunning, went passed the harbour which had some very colourful modern buildings along it, Parliament House, several museums, lots of shops - the sights were pretty much like most cities. After grapping a bit to eat i headed back to St Kilda. My favourite part of my stay in Melbourne - The Neighbours tour and Night out!!!! How exciting i visited Ramsey street, the high school and then Carpenters Mechanic's and Grease Monkeys. Didn't get to see any filming but once back in St Kilda meet the lady who played Janelle. The night out had to be the best part got to have a few beers with Libby and Malcolm Kennedy and also the lovely Stuart Parker!! (Check out the photo's). We played bingo then sang some Karaoke - it was fab. Libby also sang live and was pretty good!! The next day it was time to head to Sydney my final destination in Australia! I booked a 3 day tour so i could check out a few things out on the way. Check out my next blog to see what i got up too!!
