Don't know where to start!! It was a jam packed 3 days and lots of sight seeing!! We headed out of Melbourne and drove towards South Gippsland finally stopping at Wilsons Promontory National Park after several hours of driving!! Unfortunately it was a rather wet rainy day so unable to do the hike which was planned but did manage to have a stroll along the river in between the rain to get some good views of the scenery and mountains around as. We then headed to Squeaky beach and the rain held of enough to have a quick wonder along and a few photo's! After this we headed for the costal township of Lakes Enterance where we visited Ninety Mile Beach - Australia's longest beach!! We spent the night here in Lakes enterance and all headed out to grap some dinner then spent the evening chilling out. The next day was an early start and we headed for ' Snowy River Country' The views were amazing as the bus climbed up in to the Australian alps. Luckily the weather was on our side today so we did a 5.6km walk and took in beutiful views such as Mt Kosciuszko - the highest point in australia unfortunately didn't have time to climb to the top of it!! Heading out of the National park we passed the Ski resort of Perisher/Smiggins - i didn't know Australia even got cold enough to have snow!! But apparently it does so i took their word for it as of course with it being summer there was no snow while we were there!! We headed towards Jindabyne where we were staying the night. It was great accomodation which looked out over the lake!! On the last day we did a 3 hr drive to Canberra (Australia's Capital Territory). First stop was Parliament House. After several security checks - just like the airport we had a guided tour around. We then headed in to the city centre for lunch and afterward we visited the War Memorial Museum. As we left Canberra we stopped at a lookout point which had fantastic views of the city. Back on the bus we all got comfortable for the 4 hour drive into Sydney. It wa a great 3 days meet some really nice people and the scenery a we drove along was amazing and so different to what id seen on the West Coast and up in the Northern Territory.
