Today we walked and walked and walked to explore San Sebastián. There is a distinct new and old section of the city and we loved it all. There are a number of old churches - they were all closed so we couldn't explore.

We climbed up to the top of Monte Urgull which overlooks the whole of the city. There is a huge Christ monument at the top of the mountain (on top of the castle).

We found a great tapas/pintxos (lots of small portions of delicious food) bar when we came down to the old city and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere - boy, some of those folk have very loud voices.

It rained on and off all day. When it was fine the sky was s vivid blue.
