One of the remarkable ceilings in the Pitti Palace, home to the Medici family. The rooms in the Palace were simply stunning with many chandeliers, huge paintings in magnificent gilt frames, marble statues, jewellery etc, etc.

The elaborate gardens will be even more beautiful when the spring flowers bloom. The leaves are thickening up on the trees now and look so new and fresh. This manicured garden was just and example of the huge Biboli Gardens that are attached to the Pitti Palace. There are many marble statues in the sweeping landscaped setting with fountains on a couple of levels. Pretty specce.
