Monday 1st June 2009 Day 1-Mekong Delta This morning was another 07.45am pick up for the 3 day Mekong Delta tour into Cambodia that we had booked. After a 1 hour coach journey to the ferry port we boarded a boat to a honey farm were we tried honey tea which was very nice, rice wine which was as disgusting as I remembered and banana wine which was equally disgusting. Friday 29th May 2009, Ho Chi Minh City Well we were meant to arrive here at 6pm but no we didn't get here till 8pm!! This was partally to do with traffic and also because the roads on the outside of the city were flooded due to the heavy rain earlier in the day! One minute we were driving on the road the next it was like driving through a river!! This is not unusual for Vietnam! Wednesday 27th May 2009, Mui Ne We left Dalat at about 07:30, we were waiting about half an hour from the said time of pick up. We were a little bit dissapointed to discover that the bus was an actual mini bus instead of a spacious coach. Monday 25th May 2009 After a very long bus journey from Nah Trang which took 8 hours instead of 6 hours we eventually arrived in Dalat at 4pm. Checked into our hotel and the easy riders tour group had followed us to our hotel from the bus stop after some friendly pressure from them we booked a motorbike tour for tomorrow. Friday 22nd May 2009, Nha Trang Well we managed to get today a bit wrong. We went to leave the hotel at about 11am and bumped into Kayleigh (from Hanoi) so we had a chat with her before heading to Crazy Kim's for lunch.
