Well we've now been in Xian for two days. We arrived at 05:30 yesterday morning into a train station that was as busy as some of ours at morning rush hour. There were also several groups of people and bags just sleeping on the street outside the station. We were also watched by a group just because I was writing something down! Obviously don't see English writing very much! Getting to the hostel was a bit of a nightmare, we were too early for the free pick up so ...

We have now done 3 days in Beijing and this entry is to update you on days 2 and 3. Day2 We visted the Lama temple which is close to our hostel which is in honour of 3 incense budha. Before we entered the temple Suzie tried to take a picture of me but a chinese lady rushed forward and gave Suzie her Camera and then proceeded to rush up to me and put her arm around me for a picture, very strange! We do feel like aliens here don't think they see many fair haired ...

Well this is our first entry, we arrived in Beijing at 06.00 managed the airport and arrived at baggage reclaim. My bag came very quickly and then we waited and waited for Suzie's bag and then waited a bit longer and it still didn't come! So poor Suzie is currently bagless not the start we wanted!!! Hopefully it will come quickly and thanks mum for making us pack spare knickers in our hand luggage! I think i may have cursed us with my earlier comment on the way t...
