Well this is our first entry, we arrived in Beijing at 06.00 managed the airport and arrived at baggage reclaim. My bag came very quickly and then we waited and waited for Suzie's bag and then waited a bit longer and it still didn't come! So poor Suzie is currently bagless not the start we wanted!!! Hopefully it will come quickly and thanks mum for making us pack spare knickers in our hand luggage! I think i may have cursed us with my earlier comment on the way to reclaim about our bags being lost whoops!!
We are now sat waiting to get into our rooms so we can catch up on some sleep. The hostel seems quite nice but yet to see the rooms. We've had a coffee and caught up on some smoking time!
The whole idea of exploring right now is a little over whelming but all the information to follow once we feel brave enough!!!!!!!!

Ok well we had a good sleep to revise ourselves, we then decided to explore Beijing by foot without a map!!!!!!! Good fun but we counldn't tell you what we saw as we don't know what there called. But we did see several temples, the bell tower and crossed a river! We also put our lives in danger many a time crossing the road (interesting), refused many a rik saw ride, went on the Beijing underground for the first time (fairly easy) and have had our first Chinese meal out and about. Now having a beer and chilling before deciding the plan for tomorrow!
