Heya! just tried to check my bank account for the 5th time so gona write this instead. Yday decided to get a bit active and take a stroll to see some sights- therz alot btw! it was awesome just to trek around a bit and wear in the old flip flops. took a 45minute walk thru some backstreets to the golden moutain- i could see the whole of bangkok from high up= was awesome- its all a bit hit and miss - took me 15mins to get back lol, but def getting the hang of it now- decided to go see the river after that- got on some random ferry for 3 baht which is like 10p or somink and crossed to wang something, spent a couple of hours being the only western person in this place - lots of litte streets- soi- they say bangkok is like venice- i disagree- makes venice look like a the perfect street map. anyway i like it- all adds to the chaos and you definitly dont feel lost (as yet) the thai people are lovely - anyways walked round the grand palace and the shrine to the city the swing and someother things then headed back. its the little things that i like- the markets, the monks, this little kid in the market who has obv just learned to walk had squeaky shoes on so she didnt get lost- how cute! after running a bit to miss what looked like rain i got backto hotel and didnt have to sort out nething to do in the evening as was invited out by some very hansome young english boys- met up with stu paul and sam for an awesome slap up meal at the hardrock cafe siam square -all expenses paid - the band were amazing- the lead singer looked a bit like an amercan rapper but sung like an english person- talent for you- thanks boys its not somewhere im likely to go for a while - drinks are on me when i get back- take it easy boys and dont be bummed out- thers no time for that! 2 day ive bin wandering again- went in the palace and saw the emerald budda which is made of jade- spent ages just starring at pretty building they are butiful! took the river boat to wat po- sleeping budda- HHHHUUUGE and gold- no ones making off with that in a hurry- 8-10 double decker buses-then hit the river again to wat arun on the other side of the river- i like it over their you can get some good deals and its more typically thai if you know what i mean. Now ive gota rush gota go see Sally who lives a boat ride and a skytrain ride away- ive not done the skytrain before so should be good- 2moro i hope to go to this market begnning with C (your one chris) - and get some really really cheap clothes! Bangkok is like primark with everything in it :)! can you imagine- its amazing!!
