On the way to Kilarney! Had to get off the train due to a mechanical problem so we are waiting for a new train. Irelands does not have good weather. One minute its pouring and one minutes it sunny. Cork is nice. Its a pretty big city. We stayed at the Bru bar and hostel. It had a really nice bar downstairs with a band everynight. We met people from all over France, Canada, Tahiti, and Ireland. Most speak english, probably better english then i do. :-)
We walked a really long way in the pouring rain to see an old Jail in Cork. But it was worth it. Im gonna have a great butt after all this walking. haha Then we went to a really nice market and bought food to cook dinner. It was nice to have a homecooked meal.
Today we got up early and headed to Blarney to kiss the stone. Its at the top of a really cool Castle that you can explore. The stone is part of the castle wall and a guy holds your feet while you lean backwards to kiss the stone. Its supposed to give you life time of eloquence. Then we walked around the grounds to see the rest of the estate including the the garden of posion with all these posionous plants and the horse's graveyard (I know kinda creepy).
Next stop Kilarney....

Joanne Sounds like you are having a great time! I'm loving the updates!
Brian@FtLauderdale Just heard about all the flight cancellations in/out of Scotland due to the volcanic ash cloud. Hopefully it will clear out before you go to Edinburgh. Please keep up with the blog updates when you can. Love to Matt & Kayleen!
Lauren Did Matt kiss the Blarney Stone?
Susan Haha thanks everyone and no Matt did not kiss the Blarney Stone. Hes afraid of heights. And to answer your earlier question, Lauren, most of the landscape pictures are being taken by Matt who has a really fancy camera. All the crappy ones i took.
