Monday 6th July - 4am start today to go and see the sunrise at the Grand Canyon followed by a more than 3 mile hike along the Bright Angel Trail. Canyon hiking is definitely hard work but I got there in the end! Exhausting day but definitely worth it!! Finished off the night with pizza with the group then some bowling where I came a respectable 3rd!

Sunday 5th July - we started the morning by going to see Hoover Dam then headed down to Route 66 where we stopped of in the town of Seligman for lunch and some Route 66 pictures! The film Cars is loosely based on this town! We then drove to our hotel near the Grand Canyon and went out for a nice steak dinner in town.
