Monday 20th July - had a fantastic day exploring Washington on a bike tour, we got to see a lot of the famous historical monuments and it was a great way to explore the city. We went out for our final group dinner and also to celebrate Tom's birthday. We went to a trivia night at a local bar, we lost, but had fun anyway!

Sunday 19th July - arrived in Washington DC in the afternoon and spent some time chilling out in the hostel before a few of us headed out to Chinatown for dinner and drinks, it was pretty quiet since it was a Sunday night but we found a nice bar to have a few drinks in to start celebrating Tom's birthday!

Saturday 18th July - we had a long drive from Nashville to Virginia today so on the way we stopped off at the Jack Daniels Distillery for a tour. It was great to learn about how it was made and follow the process from start to finish, unfortunately we didn't have time to do any tasting!!

Friday 17th July - had a fantastic day in Nashville starting with a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame, it was great to see all the videos and pictures of country music stars over the years. After that the group went out for dinner and some line dancing which was great fun and we hall had a fab time trying to dance to a live country music band!

Thursday 16th July - had a fun morning chilling at the pool with the rest of the group at the hotel, Memphis is by far the hottest place we have been so far! In the afternoon we went on one of my highlights of the tour which was to Graceland! Was such a great experience touring the house of Elvis and seeing where he lived and all of the memorabilia kept there.
