Bonjour!  Today we actually made it for breakfast for the first time!  After breakfast, we hopped on a train and went to check out Antibes.  It is a small town on the Cote d' Azur.  It was beautiful with nice sandy beaches, which is hard to find around here.  Most of the beaches here are very rocky.  We met a friend on the train, Kate, and she joined us at the beach.  On the way to the beach we passed through the market and picked up some grapes, goat cheese and a baguette to have a picnic.  Susan's pocket knife finally came in handy:)   After a few hours on the beach, we took the train to Cannes.  We just missed the film festivel, which ended on Sunday, so we didn't see any celebrities.  Oh well.  It was full of expensive shops, nice cars, big hotels and fancy old ladies with their tiny dogs.  We sat down at a little place on the beach and had a Pina Colada and enjoyed the view.  Now we are back at our hostel in Nice and ready for some dinner.  Tomorrow we are hoping to go to Monaco and Eze.  Miss you all!  Wish you were here!
