Bonjour!!!  Well, after getting NO sleep on our overnight flight, we arrived in Paris at 830am. It took a little more time than expected to find our hostel in Montmarte.  But thanks to Devan we at least had a clue of what to look for. Merci Devan!  After carrying our ridiculously heavy packs up 1 million stairs, we finally dropped them off at the hostel and made our way to a cafe to sit and have some cafe au lait while looking over our guidebook.  We called Susan's friend Michiko who lives in Paris and met her at her apartment where she had food waiting for us! Yippee!  We spent the afternoon with Michiko and her French friend going to small museums and window shopping.  At this point we had not slept in over 30 hours!  Michiko and her husband Alain then escorted us back to our hostel where we took a very short 1 hour nap before getting up to go to dinner.  We went to small Parisian place and had wonderful service as well as fish, veggies and our first glass of vin in Paris!  Now we are back at the hostel hoping to get a good nights rest before more sightseeing tomorrow with Michiko.  Goodnight!
