After sleeping in this morning we went exploring Nice.  We took the bus to Old Town (Vieux Nice) to walk around the shops and eat lunch.  Then we walked along the boardwalk...what a beautiful view!  The water is made up of many shades of bright blue with mountains in the distance.  We went to the top of a mountain overlooking the sea (Chateau).  When we got to the top we were suprised to find it was more than a beautiful view.  There was a park with many children, people playing bocce ball and people playing cards.  There was also a waterfall.  Then we went back to old town for our first gelato of our trip.  The traffic here is crazy.  People drive in any lane they want on either side of the road they want.  Inside the bus is the safest place to be, although it's a jerky ride.  Now we're getting ready for dinner at the hostel.  We were able to upload some photos, so make sure you check them out.   Leave us messages too!  We love to read them!
