With the wedding day still fresh in our minds it was time to go back and see our friendly travel agent, David, to book the next leg of our honeymoon. We entered the office with certain ideas of dates and locations for our itinerary and, after a consultation lasting the best part of two hours, it proved to be a very successful morning albeit with a slightly different result to what we expected. Got me a wiiife!! Had a wonderful wedding day, marrying the girl of my dreams. Still cannot believe we've done it. Everything we planned went perfectly and some things were even better than we anticipated. Now having to wait a few days for a copy of the wedding certificate to drop through the letter box before we can apply for a new passport in the name of Kirsty Hanes. It was time we went back to the travel agent to book the next leg of our trip, this being our flights from Singapore to Delhi. Unfortunately our excitement got the better of us and before we arrived at the travel agent, we realised there was a strong possibility that not all the flights would be published by the airlines yet. Sure enough, once we explained why we were there, our travel agent only found a handful of (expensive) flights for the dates we wanted. ...

The new passport has arrived!!! So shiny and new. Wont stay that way though! Hard to believe that this little document will be with me on a daily basis during the whole of our trip. Nice touch that they return the old passport as well. Onwards and upwards to the next thing on the list.

Today was the day to organise a new jumbo passport together with new passport photos. Kirsty will obviously have to wait until after the big day (!) and her formal change of name before she can sort out a new passport. so just me for today. A couple of week's wait until the brand new passport will arrive through the letter box to allow me to travel the world. Another item ticked off our gargantuan list!!!
