It was time we went back to the travel agent to book the next leg of our trip, this being our flights from Singapore to Delhi.

Unfortunately our excitement got the better of us and before we arrived at the travel agent, we realised there was a strong possibility that not all the flights would be published by the airlines yet. Sure enough, once we explained why we were there, our travel agent only found a handful of (expensive) flights for the dates we wanted. Following his advice we decided to give it a miss and bide our time. Instead we will pop back (probably after the wedding!!) when the cheaper flights will be available.

When we return we will also be able to book some additional elements of our trip, including our African adventure and a couple of other flights.

Although ultimately we left empty-handed it's comforting to know we have done everything possible and are still on course. Such a big trip with so much to think about and organise, it could very easily spiral out of control. Also it's good to keep in contact with the agent and be able to discuss any nagging issues with him as we go along.
