Our last 2 days in Tornoto were good, tho we didnt do that much in the way of sightseeing, we wondered round a bit, found a Barbie shop! hehe
Mak got proposed to by a random homeless guy! It was nice to be chilled and not have to do stuff all the time.

We flew to LA on Tues eve and didnt arrive till 9pm, got a shuttle to the Hostel where we were shown to our room, which was a mixed dorm which we were sharing with a couple, who seemed nice. we also had our own bathroom which was handy.
The first morn I woke up at like 7! We discovered that the hostel did free breakfast so i was very excited to discover there were cereals and cold milk = very happy meg :D and i was able to have seconds :D yay

After breakfast we got the bus to the greyhound station to book our bus ticket to San Fransisco for the night of the 19th. With that done we headed to Venice beach with meant catching 2 buses and it took over an hour but was nice to be able to sunbathe on the beach for the majority of the afternoon :D the bus journey was funny as on the first bus some guy asked if we had been working out cos we looked toned! lol and on the second bus some guy came up and told Mak that he didnt do this thing very often but he thought she was very pretty!
Then wondered along the beachfront which was a little strange to say the least, there were people asking for money to buy pot and stuff and loads of tacky tourist shops :s
We got the bus to the next beach along, Sanata Monica, where we walked along the pier and then just sat on the beach watching the waves. The sea was quite inviting as the sae misty haze had cleared but it was too cold to go for a swim, but we did have a paddle :D
We returned to our hostel to discover the extent of our sunburn :( tho mine was only slightly pink and seems to have disappeared now :)

Today we checked out of our hostel and went on a LA city tour, we saw the HOLLYWOOD sign, all the stars' houses in Beverly Hills, Drove along Sunset Strip, Hollywood walk of fame (where some guy dressed up as johnny depp from pirates of the caribean sed i cud have a photo with him and insteading of havin to pay i cud just give him my number! i declined this offer!) went back to Veince beach and got to see looks of famous places :D it wa a good day, tho slightly colder than yday, so at times i wish i hadnt worn a skirt! (yea thats right I'm wearing a skirt! Shock horror I know!)

We are now trying to waste our time away as our bus to San Fran isnt til 10 2nite :(
Note sure when we will nxt b able to update as we now have 2days in San Fran before starting our tour through the national parks, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon and ending up again in LA :) so will keep u posted when i can :D
