It was a bit brighter this morning, 9C, blue skies and the heavy dark clouds of yesterday had given way to a sparser lighter white version. Whitehorse itself was still an unhappy looking, feeling place. It's a town where people in general seem without much hope, soup kitchens abound and seeing people going through rubbish bins is the norm. We woke to a slightly warmer day, fresh snow on the mountains and the sight of geese flying south in formation from our rooms balcony.
