Today's aim was to head back to the Oregon coast and tomorrow to continue heading south from there exploring along the way. Like yesterday we had a coolish start but it soon warmed up by mid afternoon to a little over 30C. The guy at the servo where we filled up before setting off suggested we should go to the local attraction, a miniature train place. This morning while I cooked breakfast Pete found he could take it no more. It's been another gorgeous day, sunny and warm. Our drive today took us along the Oregon coast. If we weren't by the ocean we went through shady forests and small seaside communities. Beautiful gentle surf beaches and calm sunlit bays littered with small bobbing boats; fishermen patiently competing with heron, cormorants, gulls and goose. We woke to another cool but sunny day. First order of business after checking out was a shopping trip. We gave away what was left of our perishables to Tanya before the cruise so needed to restock.
