We set off today for Lake Louise. We again followed the railway line, the same one that carries the famed Rocky Mountaineer, a trip I'd always thought I'd like to do but now wonder if we've not seen the best of what you'd see on that anyway. We had a pretty bad nights sleep. The person in the room above us watched TV til 3.30 all the while stomping around. No idea how they did it but they were then up at six to do some more stomping before finally heading out but it was too late for us to go back to sleep. As we left Canmore we pulled into a servo to put air in the tyres & across the road, outside a pub there were 20 or so bikers gearing up for a day on the road. The cop shop was across the road...
