Six Months Baby
As Uruguay is just a short boat ride away from B.A. we thought we would go and get another stamp in our passport, and of cause to see another country and capital as Montevideo. We set off early morning and was in Montevideo by the afternoon, sadly it rain all the rest of the day so we were stuck in the hostel doing sweet F.A.. However the rain left us just in time to go out for the night. We went for a meal then hit the town, well one road. We ended up in a small bar that was playing some latino music and was rammed. So us gringos went in and we got a lot of stares but it was cool, and just chatted to some local and met some other gringo from our hostel.
The next day we went on a tour of the city, in a lovely coach, leather and all. We saw some lovely place alot of monuments alot. We then went to the where the first ever World Cup was played, previously we found out it had hardly changed since 1930. When we got there we were even aloud pitch side, we even went on the picture however the ground man started shouting at us so we got off pretty sharpish. Some of the seat were still there from the 1930, solid concrete, well comfortable. Montevideo, was a very nice quiet city very relaxed from most of the capital we have been to. We then went for some local quisine Mc Donalds, tasted rather actually, then it was back to B.A. for Andys last night (our pet scot) see you soon Andy.
