Six Months Baby
Sorry its taken so long for this one, its only coz we have been so busy. Anyway, Byron Bay. After our little stop off at Nimbin we thought we would carry on in the sprit and stay at a place called the Arts Factory and it felt we hadn't left Nimbin, lets just say it had the same idea. Through our travels everyone recommeded us to go to a place called Cheeky Monkeys, a backpackers haven. Lets just say we went to this place every night we were out in BB, cheese heaven, dancing on the tables, cheap meals and of course a footy tournament.
Once we had enough of the Arts Factory we moved to a YHA called J's Bay, a really cool hostel, where our honourery member Scott Mcleod was staying. In the first day we were there we were playing in the inter-hostel footy tournament which we won of course, we didn't even conceded one goal and won on penalties in the final, we gave them a chance. THe prize was a $100 bar tab in Cheeky Monkeys, quality. We got to go up on stage and recieve the prize, the girls loved it, well the few that were there, so you can imagine the damage that night.
Other than drinking we thought we would catch the last bit of sun and spend all the days down on the beach, and play in the huge waves, which at some times were quite dangerous, and painful.
Along with the footy night we also had some other very drunk nights at cheekys, we were playing Head or Tails drinking game with two Canadians guys and thats all i can say about that night (you can guess the rest)
On our last day in BB we booked a surf lesson, as everyone had recommeded us to do it. Lets just say Matt and Dan got it and did well, and me well i got up twice and both were at the end and by that time the teaches were getting rather frustrated with me, and kept shouting hands, hands, you'd get it if you have done surfing before. But i did get it at the end. However it didnt finish there, once we dropped everyone off the coach, known as Gazza, ala, message board invited us for a drink, thinking we were going to the pub, however we went back to his house and had a few drinks there cool. We met his family and his next door neighbour, who gave us all very needed hats, cheers again gazza hope you read this Style 'n' Surf rocks a brilliant surf school, oh and a saying we also learnt 'Happy Days'
