Friday 20th february On our last day at Mission Beach it was very hot and sunny so we just chilled out in the pool all day, read and played scrabble. We got to Cairns at about 7.30pm and were picked up by our hostel (Travellers Oasis). They gave us quite a few vouchers for cheap meals which will be good. Tuesday 10th February On Friday we got the bus which we had been told was going to Townsville. On the way the driver announced that one of the roads was still flooded and we wouldn't be able to get through. We had to spend the night in Bowen, a very small town. Thursday 29th January- We arrived at Rainbow Beach at about 7pm on 26th January and checked into out hostel (Pippies). Wednesday 14th January- We enjoyed our time at Coffs Harbour. On the first night we wandered down to the harbour and ate some fish and chips (the fish was 'hoki'), which were very tasty.
