Thursday 1st January 2009 We got to the aiport early as we had nothing to do on Sunday. The flight was ok and was about 7hours long. We got a minibus from the airport to our hostel - YHA Bondi Beachouse. It was comforting to see normal buildings made of bricks and normal cars again! Apologies for the lack of blog updates- it's been a hectic couple of weeks! Sunday 21st December- On Friday we got a bus up to Bangkok. It was a double decker, so a bit comfier than what we had become used to. We left just before 6pm and it took us about 12 hours to get there! Neither of us managed to get much sleep. Wednesday 17th December- Yesterday we went on a tour of Phi Phi islands. We got on a big speedboat from Ao nang, there were about 40 of us on it. First we went to see 'Viking Cave', which apparently has some birds nests in it, and some pictures painited on the walls to do with the vikings or something. The story so far... Friday 28th November 2008- After a rocky start to our travels (due to protestors in Bangkok) we arrived in Singapore.
