We started our 3rd day on our tour early to catch the train. Talk about an experience! The India train system is organized chaos. When the train comes you make the best effort to push your way on and find your seat! Once we got going there was the realization that not everyone had a seat or a place for their luggage. People are jammed on like sardines and it isn't like a 10 minute ride. 3 hours later after passing slums, garbage, people using the tracks as a bathroom and a haze of smoke and pollution we ended up in Agra. Again chaos and craziness. We took a tour to an abandoned city called Fatephur Sikri. We thought we were going to die on the drive to it but for some reason we came back unscathed! The next morning we were up early to see the sun rise on the Taj Mahal. Wow it is amazing! Unfortunately it was lightly raining so we didn't have much of a sunrise. Luckily though it cleared the pollution so we had a clear view if it. We had a chance to see the Agra fort, the baby Taj Mahal and the Taj Mahal from the other side of the river. This tour was all done in a motor cycle taxi again trusting we would not die! We are off tomorrow on a 4 am train ride to the Ranthambhor national park it should be a bit more peaceful (we hope).
