Hello People, a lot of catching up to do and not a lot of time to do it so forgive me any spelling errors.
Lisa and I left for Phuket quite early the next morning however i was feeling a little worse for wear, possibly a combination of tiredness, the early start, eating very early in the morning and the 2 beers i had the night before. The flight was non eventful and we arrived in Phuket early afternoon and were greeted by a very lovely lady who had our names on a card, she showed us to out air conditioned minibus (for just ourselves) and provided us with cold cloths and bottled water. Pure bliss.
We arrived at our hotel which was paradise and whilst our bags were carried to our room we were provided with a cocktail. The hotel was stunning and extrememly quiet. We unpacked our bags, settled into our room with a view of not one but 3 beaches and went down for dinner which was sooo good. The food was still reasonably priced although a noticeable increase to Bangkok prices. Most importantly the people were lovely.
In Phuket we spent a great deal of our time by the pool, going for walks through the streets lined with shops restaurants and coffee shops. As you can also guess i visited the coffee houses a great deal.
We also had a one hour thai massage complimentary of the hotel and i have to say i've never been in so much pain in my life. For all those with dirty minds ( Steph i mean you) the massage was all above board. nothing dodgy at all. Although for the early bird they did offer a morning glory massage which understandably i avoided- just incase.
We really did make the most of our time relaxing in Phuket however it may come across that we did nothing. Well that was the point. It was such an escape from realityl; relaxing in Paradise.
Next chapter Singapore. Thats all for today folks. I'll update with a quote later, running out of time on here and internet credit is quite expensive in our Cairns hostel.
Good Morning. x
