FERNGLEN Sheep Milking Farm
and HOMEWOOD STOREROOM
We visited these two intriguing sites today. Neither of us have seen sheep being milked before and according to Farmer Brown sheep milk has twice the amount of magnesium, protein and calcium as cows milk and is easily digested into the body in 45 minutes as opposed to 3 hours for cows milk.
We stayed awhile before moving down the road to the HOMEWOOD storeroom where hot homemade scones were waiting for us. They were cooked on a griddle which had been amply lined with lots of butter and once cooked on one side was flipped over to warm the top then spread with homemade raspberry jam and whipped cream. It’s the latest in the art of scone making, now called toasted scones. It’s simply the rage 😆
A N D as of now there is a POP available down the road with a gold coin donation.
ALAS when we returned to Camp Whareama our newest stabiliser had been bent, well the thing that actually looked like a bolt. Never fear said I. Superman to the rescue, simply removed the offensive stabiliser and we were on our way to the A & P show ground in Clareville.
Yup, complete with power and rather bad air, so Superwoman had us move down a few hundred metres. Clever superwoman also meant we were closer to the camp WCs and we were able to watch a live hockey game in the comfort of our Apartment 😆😆
