Day Twenty Four, Dubai - Perth

After a wake up call at 7am and complimentary breakfast, we were back in the car to the airport at 8am and checked in by 8:30. We sat in the Emirates lounge for about 45mins before boarding the plane at 9:30.

The Business Class on the 777 is a little different but still had all of the bells and whistles. This was to be a 10 hour flight so the flat bed was fully utilised.

We got into Perth around 12:50am, picked up our duty free and headed through customs to our chauffeur. We were finally home.

So the trip is over. It was over 12 months in the planning and we saw many things, had some amazing experiences and had many 'free moments'. From running through the Louvre to get to the Mona Lisa before the crowds to sitting on a bus in Turkey with a clapping driver steering with his knees. From singing along to Jersey Boys in London's West End to waving at children in Spain while hovering 30 meters above their house in a hot air balloon. From watching dolphins surf the waves created by the cruise ship on the Mediterranean to helping four clueless West Indian men work a washing machine in Barcelona.

The four of us had a great time and created many memories. Now to plan the next trip...
