Continuing from last time... Incase you forgot, I'd just boarded the flight in KL...
Well this is more like it! The second flight so far (3 hours in) has been completely different! Having the plane a quater full has it's advantages, like the dude from Bangladesh, moved from next to me to having 5 centre isle seats to himself. I don't know if the cabin crew aren't as rushed so they're more helpful or anything, but they can't seem to do enough for you now. Despite the usual offerings of nuts and tea/coffee, they came around offering magnums (the ice cream, not the gun), after which, they offered beer. In the last flight it seemed like a hidden option, having to ask 'any beer available?'. What's that? On this flight they actually have a selection. Classy Heineken it is then!

I carry on writing this at 05:22 still in an inhebriated state; after what has to be the best welcome to any country a man can have. Granted, it got off to a slow start, but I'll try to paint the picture... After not being able to contact Lee, a guy on the same OzIntro week as me, I hit the bar alone. 1 jar went down, followed by another 2. During which I chatted to a couple of groups who pretty much shot me down. This was not a good look. I moved on to beer and I got talking to Lauren and her group of friends. I'm sure I'll tell a few of you the long story, but for most of you, you'll just have to be left in mystery. What I will tell you is what followed. And how it turned pretty awesome. Yes the wet t-shirt went on. Yes it was friggin' sweet. Yes we were there until it closed. Yes we moved on to the red light district. Yes we went to a strip club. Yes we got the first train home in the morning. These guys are awesome. On the walk from the train station, I did get lost but obviously found my way. All I've gotta do now is get some shut eye. Well, until Greg arrives in 30minutes to get breakie. FUUUUUUUUUU

So today's hangover hasn't been too shabby. I got woken up when Greg came in at about 7am, told him to get some shut eye and we'll go for breaky when we wake up. Woke up at 10:30, with the arrival of Natasha at about 11am, which makes 3 of us in the room now! Had a look around the area, got breakfunch, sorted out our sim cards...all the boring stuff. Then we went for a stroll up through the high street. I think Natasha may want to buy some Ugg boots, but I don't know what gave me that idea?! Up through the Biotonical Gardens and Farm Bay, almost got locked in, apparently it closes at night! Picked up some $5 wine for tonight and BOOM! Here I am, chilling in the Hostel, Greg 'resting his eyes' and we'll be ready to get on it in no time. Sydney, night one was good. Do the same for night two, yeh?

"I can't tell the difference between tiredness and hungover-ness. I don't know whether to go out or" Is all I typed before falling back asleep. It's now 13:47 and the good news is: I'm not hungover. But the bad news is: I've wasted half the day sleeping and it's probably not going to do me any good in the long run. James and Max arrived last night, and came out with us. There's 1 bed left in this room, so I guess we'll find out later who's gunna fill it! Going out and about in a minute, probably upload this blog. Give you all something to do. Sorry there's not much in the way of stories or adventures. But as the week goes on and more people arrive, I'm sure there will be more to tell...
Oh, and don't forget to subscribe, there should be a grey button just under the 'One Man, One Adventure' title up there on the right.

audrey (mum) great reading this blog, you really dont know how to enjoy yourself LOL!! Have you seen the bats in the botanical gardens, as you were nearly locked in there??
Dad I see you are opposite the Harbour speed boat rides ! Keep clear of the bats, they poo big !
Dave Steve, There is no point describing the first night escapades, you know the cynics amongst us and by that I mean your Dad will demand photographic evidence (and names and addresses if you can get them past your Mum)!
Auntie Gill It'd be nice to start hearing about the outside of bars Steve and what you've seen so far in Sydney!
