Weŕe now in Buenos Aires having arrived on Friday. We have been seeing some of the sights and walking round the city which has lots of good architecture etc. We are pondering a further spanish class but if we do that we probably need to leave the hostels where itś pretty difficult to practice as everyone speaks English. Having left the hills in the East of Uruguay this morning we made the long coach journey to the very west, back to Colonia where we spent three nights about three weeks ago. Not planning to do much here other than leave early tomorrow morning to get the ferry to Buenos Aires, hoping the big city life won´t be too much of a shock after the tranquility of the beach and rolling countryside.

Having spent a wonderful four days on the isolated beaches of Cabo Polonio we have decided to really go remote and we headed up into the hills and valleys. We faffed around with buses before arriving in the town of Treinta y Tres where we are staiyng for a couple of nights as it´s a bit of a mission to arrange transport into the countryside.
