Arrived in Pellegrini, which is a really small town, in the Esterol del Ibera Nature Reserve, a huge wetland area. We arrived by 4x4, the only way to get here from where we were as they have decided not to tarmac the road in order to prevent a huge influx of tourists. Hello Finding it pretty difficult to get into Uruguay without going all the way down to Buenos Aires which we want to avoid if we can. We´re still looking to get into Northern Uruguay but in the mean time we´re trying to get to a place called Colonia Pelligrini which is a wetland area, similar to the Pantanal in Brazil but less touristy, and therefore harder to get to. Having spent a great week in Foz de Iguacu we crossed the border in Puerto Iguazu today. The people we´d been staying with at Hostel Natura all went off on their separate ways on Saturday and even though a new group moved in it felt like it was time to move on. To save ourselves some time we took the short taxi ride into Argentina so that we could head off first thing in the morning. Not much more to say about Puerto Iguazu, just and Argentinian version of Fos.

We spent today at the Iguaçu (Iguazu to you Spanish speakers) falls which it´s difficult to describe, absolutlely shed loads of water falling of a lot of cliffs would be the basics but it´s definitely the most amazing natural sight I´ve ever seen (we´re having problems uploading photos at the moment as the internent connections are pretty slow but be prepared for mucho photos).
