Evisons' Adventures
Having spent a wonderful four days on the isolated beaches of Cabo Polonio we have decided to really go remote and we headed up into the hills and valleys. We faffed around with buses before arriving in the town of Treinta y Tres where we are staiyng for a couple of nights as it´s a bit of a mission to arrange transport into the countryside. We got really Uruguayan and purchased a maté cup and thermos flask so we can drink our maté (pronounced martay and a bit like green tea) on the go. Not a great deal else to do in the town but we were lucky enough to meet a really helpful guy who sorted out our transport etc.
