We arrived in San Martin having come on possibly one of the scenic bus journeys I've ever been on (It actually is the journey that is part of the 7 lakes tour that many people pay to do as a day trip). Obviously we didn't stop for photos and I did snooze a bit but in between the views were simply stunning, lakes surrounded by amazing green hills and the occasional snow-capped mountain! Our plan was to jump straight on a bus to Pucon in Chile as we had been told we could do - however this was not the case so we were going to spend a night in San Martin, not a great problem really as it is quite a nice town!

We went for a walk to a viewpoint in the afternoon and were treated to yet another stunning view of a lake and mountains! It's not something I've tired of yet though! We had a little beer, sat there for a while enjoying the view before returning to the hostel! We had booked a very early (6am) bus to Pucon so just grabbed an early night!
