Day 33 - Saturday 3rd April

The hostel was pretty dingy and quiet so I headed out in the salta rain to book my ticket out of there before catching a little siesta. Got to speak the family on skype before buying a huge Kinder Easter egg in preparation for tomorrow!! Went for a stroll around Salta that without the rain and lit up nicely for nighttime was quite picturesque in it's own colonial way...also got to meet a couple of crazy French mountaineers in my dorm who are climbing mountains left, right and centre all over South America!!

Day 34 - Sunday 4th April

Easter !!! Got to speak to all the extended family on skype over lunch (this includes plumdog millionaire). Then after a cheap supermarket lunch I made for a museum of conserved Incan mummie children...quite bizarre and a little eerie! Next I caught the cable car up the mountain to look out over the city. After delivering a perfect lesson in Spanish to some school children I headed back to the hostel to share out my Easter egg...perhaps the...only...way...I can make...friends...

But ended up with a crazy night in the hostel with some insane dutch guys, weird german goths (whose jokes cringingly fell short. Every time) and an Argentinian mum. 3.30 finishes are great until you have to be up for a bus at 6...but at least I'm leaving Salta!! There was really nothing there...
