Hello again! Had a busy day of sightseeing today. We got up quite early and had breakfast at the hotel next door before getting a taxi to the National Mosque. There wasn't much to see here but Steph looked an idiot as the girls have to wear head covers and robes - I looked like Mary lol! Then we went next door to the Islamic Arts Museum for a bit more culture but the proper stuff was a bit boring so we amused ourselves in the kids section where there were lots of fun games to play:) After this we got lost trying to get out and this helpful man said to follow him. We thought he was showing us the way out but he ended up giving us a lift to the Menara Tower which is where we wanted to go. Luckily he wasn't a psychopath lol (mum and dad we promise not to do that again!) The Menara tower is the fourth highest tower in the world. It was cool and we got to see all of Kuala Lumpur including the twin towers which you can see lit up on the photo. We then jumped in another taxi to Times Square which is a HUGE shopping centre with a theme park inside! We didn't go in the theme park though because it was too expensive but it looked pretty cool. We decided to get an ice cream instead and both chose one entitled 'Gaytime' which we thought was amusing and thats why we got it! It was yummy though as it had sprinkles and a chocolate waffer in it. We have come back now because Steven doesn't feel well :( - he thinks he's got food poisoning!!!! Going out tonight for tea with our group and then we are going to check out the night market in Chinatown. We are going to Melaka tomorrow enroute to Singapore. Will update as soon as poss.
