Day 86-88 - Bangkok!
Well we have had a crazy few days in Bangkok and feel very hungover and tired after feeling so refreshed and relaxed after Christmas! Haha
Our hotel hasn't been to bad! Don't get me wrong it has been a massive step down from the luxury we had over Christmas but we have been so busy here we have hardly been in the rooms (apart from today where I have spent all day in the minging little toilet being sick after to much vodka last night!) some things never change! Haha
The location of our hotel has been amazing we are right on Khao San Road where there's plenty of bars, restaurants and market stalls etc! We have spent our time here mainly walking round and visiting temples! Last night we went on our first night out in Thailand and drank way to much! It was crazy!! We made loads of friends who I thought were Lebanese when jake said they were in fact Thai - I don't even know where leben is so I don't know where I get that from! Hahahaha! Anyway we paid £15 to visit the floating markets this morning with a 7am pick up! After getting in around 2am we managed to get ourselves up and in the shuttle bus however after a 10 minute drive me and jake had to get out and walk back to the hotel missing out on the trip all together because I was to poorly! Note to self: NEVER drink the night before an early morning trip! What a waste of £15! Obviously they don't give refunds for 'too hungover!' Sam and Jess have arrived and after travelling all the way to see us we had to send them on the trip alone!! Haha! Jake just wanted to go back to bed too but atleast we tried! Haha Luckily we are coming back to Bangkok for our final few days so we may try to visit the floating markets again then!
I forgot to say in the last blog THAILAND SELLS PEPSI MAX!!!!!! Woo hoo!
Tomorrow we leave for Koh Samui where we're also not very nice hotel so I'm nervous to check in as it has loads of bad reviews! but we are right on the beach so hopefully we won't really be in the room anyway! We have been out for tea tonight but are now just in for the night sorting our bag packs and getting an early night as our taxi is picking us up at 7am in the morning!

Maurice Hope you are feeling better. Was your vodka intake worth the hangover. Been there and decided it wasn't. The floating markets look well worth a visit. Enjoy the company of your friends. We have snow warning for tonight and the temperature is very cold. Enjoy Koh Samui. Xxx
mum & Ken Ha ha ha ha Steph you do make me laugh, we never learn as I still do it even though I'm older lol, so ignore the "live & learn" that we all keep saying to you cos it isn't true lol ha ha. Oh well shame you missed the floating markets, lets hope you catch them on the last leg of your trip. I bet you enjoyed the night as it was happening didn't you, though the next day we all say "Never Again", the amount of times ive said that I should be shot lol. Enjoy the rest of your trip, we miss you too, though have had a good family orientated Christmas, was lovely to spend time with mum & dad and Coco and Julie, Mark, Andy etc.... lovely to also see Charlie & Brody playing about.
