Day 57-59!

So we have spent the day in Bangkok (well in a place called Lat Krabang) which is right near the airport as a stop over before our flight to Hanoi tomorrow morning!
It's been 34 degrees today and it's a really humid/stuffy heat! We walked out to the local shopping mall this morning to have a mooch as we woke up at 7am (we've come back in time 6 hours from New Zealand so we keep falling asleep early and waking up early!) luckily this is our last major time change so we won't have to adjust to a different time zone again!) yesterday we flew through 3 different time zones in between flights which is a massive head wobbler!! We were drained when we checked into the hotel after 2 long flights and basically went straight to bed!
Even though we've technically flew 12 hours closer to the UK it feels like we're further away! The culture/ environment out here is completely different! Firstly there are loads of wild dogs!! Which was abit scary at first but hey it's better than loads of minging cats!! Also there's more like poverty over here.. for example on the walk today there were locals selling food on the street from little cafe's made of metal sheets (which we wouldn't go near with a barge pole) but then when you looked in there were beds on the floor with young children and babies on as it's there home!! (This made me feel bad about moaning to jake all morning because I found an ant on the floor in our hotel room!) it defiantly makes you feel lucky and more appreciative of what we have and what really matters in life (which doesn't include how well jake cuts the fat off my bacon in a Morning for example).
We went out for lunch after a few hours shopping to a really nice restaurant where we shared like a chicken stir fry and had a rice dish each with a drink and it came to £6.80 for everything!! Amazing!! It's so cheap out here so we are buzzing with that! The hotel we've stayed at has been lovely and the pool was gorgeous! It has definitely recharged our batteries!

We are spending the night packing for our flight to Hanoi tomorrow and trying to stay awake past 9pm!
