Day 34-39
Well we loved Wellington!! We spent most of our time catching up with my cousin and his son who have been in New Zealand for years now and who I haven't seen for ages! So that was fab! Even though we spent most of our time eating and drinking so all my clothes are feeling pretty tight and I'm not 100% back on slimming world for the foreseeable future to loose what I've gained!
We spent the rest of our time exploring the city and doing some lovely scenic walks! This is the first place we have come and thought we could live here! It's so beautiful and is literally just like England but 100000% better and nicer! The views everywhere are just unreal!
Today we got up at 6am to get the ferry from the north island to the South Island where we picked up our car (Toyota Yaris - much more suitable size for me to drive) ready to spend the next 2 and a half weeks driving all the way round the south island before heading back to Wellington to have a few more days with Gareth and Oscar before heading to Bangkok!
After around 10 days in luxury accommodation we are back in a hostel for the next 2 nights in a place called Kaiteriteri - the hostel isn't to bad though and we have our own bath room which is nice! (We still have to shower in flip flops though and the clean freak OCD is back in full force).
Tomorrow we are going to explore the Abel Tasman national park which we are really looking forward to as it looks stunning! (I will post some pics).
We are both really tired from a long day travelling (3.5 hours on ferry then a 3 hour drive) so we are having an early night tonight!

Michelle & Ken Hi guys good to see the blog again Steph ha ha, so you've fallen in love with the country, nice one, glad to see you are living your lives. We are all good hear hun, so you just keep following your dreams and you will land where you land and I for one am very proud of you both as I'm sure others are....Go for your life and live it the way you want too.....keep the blogs coming huni. Yes we miss you of course, but if ever or where ever you decide to settle be it England or abroad, their are always planes, love you both keep trecking xxxx
Mum Ah wish I was there to see Gareth & Oscar too xx make sure you give them big hugs from me when you return to Wellington x I thought you'd love NZ as Charl did too and it was nice for you to see where she lived and worked whilst over there .
