Day 10-11
So after a 13 hour overnight coach journey from Sydney we finally made it to Byron Bay getting off the coach with 0 hours sleep, a 20kg rucksack each and no idea where our accommodation is. We found a map and starting to navigate our way to Bryon Bay YHA (yes this was our first hostel) and after my sister reassuring me that the YHA hostels are ''luxury'' compared with others I felt quite optimistic as we set off walking. On Arrival it didn't look to bad it has a lovely pool and friendly staff however once we entered our room I did have a mini breakdown... for a start the carpet was green, the bedding was navy and green and the curtains were red....there is one small double bed and a set of 2 single bunk beds, which don't get me wrong looked clean (after doing a full inspection) but it still looked like a cell!
