We have had the most amazing few days!

On Tuesday We managed to get a bus and a train out of Sydney to bondi beach to do the bondi to coogee beach walk, this takes about 3 hours in total (1 and a half hours each way) and on the walk back jake said he wanted to go and sit on the rocks overlooking the beach for a 5 minute rest... I was hungry and wanted to get back so we could have lunch and after 5 minutes of protesting I gave in and we went and sat on the rocks.... he only then went and proposed!! In the cutest way ever!! I obviously said yes and after 15 mins of pure sobbing he said we needed to get back so I could get ready for a night celebrating, 2 bottles of presecco later and a Italian meal so posh we couldn't understand the menu we staggered back to the hotel grinning like Cheshire cats! Honestly had the best day and night ever and still keep blubbering a few times a day!

We then left Sydney for good, hiring a car to head up to Karuah to stay with jakes auntie - our car was massive and an automatic (which was stressful as me and jake had never driven an automatic before never mind in a different country)! We also hired a sat nav to get us around - the sat nav was dead so we needed to charge it, We didn't realise that the place to charge electricals wasn't in the usual place (under the radio near the USB and other ports) so when we tried to charge the sat nav nothing was happening - 2 cars and 5 sat navs later I was shouting down the phone to the poor woman at the car rental office adamant that the cars and sat navs were all faulty and after being told there was nothing else they could do as there were no cars or sat navs left to try we decided to pay £6 to get 3G on jakes phone to get us to Karuah.... after a 3 hour drive, we pulled into the neighbourhood and I spotted a '12v' port near my leg and sure enough we plugged the sat nav into it and it charged! we then realised that we were trying to plug the sat nav into the cigarette lighter!! If we didn't laugh we would of cried and I'm pretty sure if this happened a few days earlier jake would not of proposed to me (even though he didn't spot it either!)

Anyway We are having a ball at jakes aunties and being fully looked after with some amazing home cooked food! The beaches are stunning and we are off to do some paddle boarding tomorrow which should a laugh!
