hey all so back in island paradise once more which is really bizarre without everyone from the tour - we waved goodbye in bangkok on tuesday which was a bit emotional cos we won't be seeing a few of them again (the others however we will hopefully see again tomorrow which'll be cool) its very wierd not being in a big group anymore like this morning it was raining and with just the two of us it was pretty hard to think of somethingfun to do so i just ended up goin back to bed! - sorry to disappoint those of you currently relishing in the fact that it was raining it turned out to be a gorgeous day and i have spent the rest of it lounging on the beach with my (technically lucy's) book! heehee! Bnagkok was really cool we all went out on monday night even though the tour was over cos it was lucy's birthday. pretty awesome night although a lot less crazy than her fake birthday last week! we all went for a meal off the Khao San road and lucy even got a birthday pancake! and a big balloon! which she 'accedentally let go' like i knew she probably would! thwn we pretty much spent the rest of the night drinkin buckets of rum and coke out of a hippy van!!! coolest idea ever! this Thai guy loved hippy vans and loved bars so decided to combine the two - so doing that in wales when i get back its pure bloody genius!!!!! eventually we retired to subway for a loverly 12 inch! pretty sweet way to spend your birthday if you ask me! the dya after we spent the day wnadering around near the Khao San round and doin some shoppin which was pretty cool then went off to say goodbye to the gang before catching the bus back down here! another totally sweet venue! petrol station by day bar by night how ace an idea is that - what do you reckon dad????? if it works in Bangkok it'll definately work in Mere!!!! heehee the bus and boat was a bit of a pain in the ass but i'm definately glad to be back here, a lot ofd the people we met last week are still around and there's another tour group here too who we've decided we might try and gategrash! anyhoos better go cos i'm currently being eaten alive by middgies! i've decided the only way to stop myslef getting bitten is too drink loads of G&T as apparently the little b*****s arent too fond of it!!!! anything for my health heehee! love y'all loads and miss you an iccle bit! xxxxxx
