hey all! so i have left my little island paradise (only temporarily!) and i'm in Bangkok now - the city has an awesome vibe to it but a bit of a stench too duie to the fact that all the waterways are literally fermenting! yummy! we left koh phag nan on staurday moring via truck, ferry, minivan and overnight which i'm sure would have been a much more pleasant experience without a stinking hangover but hey what can you do!?! we got into to bangkok about 6 am ouch! and jumped onto some more minivans to drive to the floating markets which were pretty cool and then over to the river kwai which was really interesting and a bit intense, the bridge itslef was a lot smaller than i thought it would be but i have to admit i cried a little in the cemetary it was just too intense a day after having so little sleep! we had a bit of a wander round the city yesterday and then went to see a thai boxing fight which was just truly a bizarre experience the first feww figths were pretty rubbish but then i really got into it! the last fight was just too surreal because the guys fighting were actually only ten years old!!!!!! well toodle pip cos theres shopping and exploring to be done before we head back to paradise - plus i have to go buy lucy a b'day pressie!!!!! love y'all
