Saturday 4th October 2014

We still had the rest of the day till we arrived into Edmonton. I ended up gazing out of the window as normal watching the Canadian scenery pass by.

We arrived late afternoon into Edmonton and grabbed a taxi, who was this crazy Indian guy! He shouted at nearly every other car driver for some reason!

We finally arrived at our hostel and we had a private room which was nice after a long bus ride! We had a wash and headed out to find some dinner at the supermarket.

We relaxed at the hostel and got talking to others in the hostel and had an early night!!

Sunday 5th October 2014

We had a really good 12 hours sleep! We clearly needed that sleep!

We slowly got ready and got some breakfast before we headed out for a walk. We are on the other side of the river from downtown Edmonton.

Edmonton is the capital of Alberta and has a population of over 800,000, and is home to North America's largest mall!

We had a nice walk across the Saskatchewan river and along the river. We were aiming for the Alberta museum but it was pretty far away and one of the bridges were out so it would of been an even further walk.

So instead I grabbed a coffee and we sat on the walkway over looking the golf course and river which was great, especially with the sun shinning!

We walked through the golf course and along the river which was a lovely blue colour and it was just stunning. We had a long walk up from the river back to the bridge across back to the hostel! Its a shame we didn't have long in Edmonton, and the fact we didn't realise how big it was here, but we can always come back so we can come and explore some more!

We grabbed some lunch at subway before we headed back to the hostel and called a taxi to take us to the bus station.

The taxi took forever to arrive and my anxiety kicked in, it has gotten worse the older I have gotten! The taxi finally arrived and we soon arrived at the bus station and picked up our tickets before waiting for our bus to arrive. There was a really angry lady in the station shouting she sat in poop or something...I dunno! These are the kind of people we have to deal with on these buses!!

The bus wasn't too bad, only eight hours to get to Calgary so this will be a breeze!!
