We got up this morning, i was feeling a bit better, and set off to look at Huka falls. We were advised to go by foot as it was beautiful...we drove. We followed the road and went past Huka falls, were there are rapid but small waterfalls, A honey place were they make their own honey and ice cream. they have the bee's there for you to see which was interesting, a prawn park were u catch ur own prawns and then eat them, altho we didnt go in as we would have had to pay and we werent that bothered, altho i did try a hole-in-one gold thing were u can win money. i didnt win. was close tho! And then ended up at the Rapids jet. My friends si and debs recommnded to do the Huka falls jet but someone here said the rapids jet was better as it did more so we chose that. We booked in, sat in the sun sunbathing until it was time (i tried another hole-in-one golf comp, i didnt win that either - it was 102meters away and if u got it u won $10,000!) and then went on the jet. It was class. We went up and down stream, seeing the dam opening and letting the water thru. did spins and bounces and went down rapids (which apparently huka falls doesnt do!?). it was good fun. it was a v8 chevrolet engine with 500bhp and used 1liter of fuel a minute!! After that we've come back to the hostel and had tea, chilled and booked an activity for 2moz...
