Today there were some very sick people when we were getting ready to go to placement. Nick, Jack B, Maddie and Hannah were all quite sick with vomiting and diarrhea. Judy had to go to placement so Brooke went off to the medical centre to play nurse. Today is Nick's birthday, we woke up as usual and waited for Nick. We had a gift for him from his parents and we all had planned a surprise party for him that afternoon. It was difficult to get him a decent birthday card so he ended up with pretty cut put Teddy bears and flowery well wishes from us all. We went out to our placements today with a new plan. Today we wanted to try to teach our classes in rotations, with a lot of art activities. - This didn't work too well. We all worked hard but the language barrier is very frustrating. School is very informal at our place and often the children just get up from their desks and leave. Yesterday was the start of our first weekend. We decided to goto Old Delhi, and were to meet at cabin 223 at 10am. Cabin 223 decided to play a trick on cabin 330 and put a note on the door. The note said that they were were supposed to meet at the cabin at 9am and because they didn't turn up, we had left without them and they were grounded to their cabin and CCS staff were going to check on them regularly. It was hilarious, and all of cabin 330 were quite annoyed...
