A day of bus rides! A very early start, waiting for our bus to show up while we stood outside shivering. Breakfast was a delectable serving of 'wet clothes' muffins (taste was fine but they smelled of laundry), and sandwiches (tikka/paneer or egg/mayo). We finally arrived at Jaipur around 4:30 in the afternoon. We were lucky to catch the elephants. The bus ride was more than a little tedious as the roads were full of upgrades and often we were achieving about forty kph. We were glad to get to the most luxurious hotel yet! The uhmaid bawhan was a beautifully restored 17th century haveli. We all enjoyed our own piece of luxury before setting off to CCS in the morning.
